Unfortunately, India's electricity is 70% coal based We are one of the largest producer of coal but still a net importer of coal

Unfortunately, India's electricity is 70% coal based We are one of the largest producer of coal but still a net importer of coal so , going by that logic , its still advantageous to india right ? , atleast we can reduce our dependency on other countries for our energy needs ... also, as u said 70% of india's electricity is coal based , we cant just change it over night right ? .... eventually we have to move to other sustainable sources and It looks like BJP govt is taking enough measures for it , I guess thats what the first PPT about the increase in green energy is about ...

To meet the increasing energy needs we got to increase coal production.. All I am saying is that increased coal production not something to brag about.. Increased green energy production, now that is worth the praise

Increased green energy production, now that is worth the praise yeah but there's nothing wrong in increasing the coal production to decrease our dependency on other countries , if you look at it that way then its certainly a +ve point .... and give them a break man , for the first time in decades it looks like we got a govt thats giving a bigger seat to the countries interests over personal interests .....
