In a huge shock to millions of commoners and political leaders, the Anti Corruption Bureau police arrested Kodangal Telugu Desam Party MLA, Revanth Reddy, last night in the cash for vote scam ahead of MLC polls. Revanth's arrest is the first ever incident in the state where an elected legislative is captured by the anti corruption cops.

Soon after the arrest, several top TDP leaders, including Revanth Reddy himself, alleged that the TRS supremo and Telangana CM KCR trapped him in a false case. Here's a stunning twist to the tale. Just a while before Revanth's arrest, KCR told his MLAs who met him to discuss about the MLC polls, "Get ready to hear a breaking news in Few Hours".

This immediately led to numerous discussions among the political leaders and even common people, who have been assuming that the police carried out the entire sting operation only after informing KCR. On the other hand, Revanth Reddy, Errabelli and several senior TDP leaders alleged that the police trapped Revanth at the behest of KCR and that the ruling party has been trying out all means to oppress TDP in the state.

Revanth Reddy-KCR's faction is nothing new since both the firebrand politicians have been waging a war of words ever since the formation of the new government last year. Revanth was also being promoted as Telangana TDP's CM candidate for the last few months. The arrested MLA has been booked under a non-bailable case.
