All those who talk about 'extraordinary cinematography' perhaps haven't seen any Maniratnam movies, in which he accomplishes this with 1/10th the budget. Anyway, the reason I look forward to this mediocre movie is because Rajamouli has the right mix of shallowness, technical ability, overarching vision, Indianness, and bravado to make this movie work. Shankar, from Tamil films also has all of the above, except an overarching vision, which is why his films look like B grade copies of Hollywood films. But this hype on Rajamouli is very funny. Given this kind of budget, there are atleast half a dozen filmmakers in India who can make a much superior film compared to this. And almost all of them are probably from the Hindi film industry. dude just youtube "bahubali hindi trailer" and read below comments.... being a telugu person if you are still not proud of a telugu director's achievement...you need to re-think.

But India lo best, indian pride ani cheppakandi vayya. suppose you want to show your foreign friends a telugu movie that you are proud of, its better to show something unique, and not an imitation of Hollywood/Chinese films - in style, and presentation. ofcourse, it depends on the kind of friends you are showing it to.
