mobile manufacturing is not power hungry. Its is lite.

India needs more and more electronics manufacturing hubs, so that Chip fabs will finally see that its profitable to open one fab here in India.

It'll be the take off point for Indian economy.

majority of people don't care. They go where their work takes them.

only some balisina people like me, get to chose where to go.

Govt of TG/United AP were always proactive ba. But the problem is with the lack of a manufacturing base. It is why Hyd became an IT hub, and a pharma manufacturing hub, than an industrial hub.

For eg. even before Hyundai came to TN, TN was into manufacturing TVS, Ashok Leyland products. So they had a ready industrial base to use.

I know , ive been to coimbatore a couple of months ago to research about something and akkada unna manufacturing industries chusi i was really impressed , and a majority of those people are telugus that settled in TN ...

how did TG suddenly become power sufficient? How much did it cost the exchequer to buy all those power, and what are the demand projections for the next few years?

not much buying just management so far, power generation efficiecny upped from 80% to 90%+, most farmers obeyed KCRs request not to cultivate paddy this season.

I feel the peak of electronic boom is over, IT still hangs around

I think Hyd can be never a mass leader in heavy metal industry because its lack of sea access.

thats nice.

perhaps TG can save a lot of power if it stop the lift irrigation thingie, and work out a better way to irrigate those lands through canals (if its possible)

no the labor costs have gone tremendously high in China, hence companies like Flextronics are looking at south east asian and south american countries, if India can pitch in they can lead the space for another 2 decades

Its not yet begun. But companies have to be really proactive in hiring and firing and adopting new technologies. If labour laws, land acquisition laws are done with, there is hope.

There's so much room to grow in MEMS. The technology is still not mature.

The way Internet of Things is being advertised, there will be a huge demand for the next decade atleast.

Yeah. Hyd can do well in hi-tech services.

looks like KTR called hitech city 'Digital Adda' today. nicer sounding name than hitech city. no?

yep Godavari almost touches 40% of TG (flows 500-600 Kms in TG) but not much intake so far , currently TG has 25 million pump sets and that is achilles heel
