lazybugger Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 in short, the separation and the union (in the 50s) were both politically motivated, and not based on any rigorous analysis. my guess is, some upper caste people got frustrated of being rolled over by upper castes from the other state, and decided to do something about it. communists have the best pov about this whole movement.

KCR has no opposition, no Andhra lobby to contend with (in govt spending), has plenty of resources at his disposal, and you are calling him awesome for just doing what he's supposed to do? Did you have very low expectations from him to begin with? He may be a literary guru but what I am saying he is more than that, from his 1 year in office he made his mark in different spheres. He is wearing multiple hats as a engineer, as a bureaucrat, as a chief architect and as a politician..if you ask me about about water grid it was unthinkable a year ago and not even assessmnet has been done before he took over as the CM...he not only took it up but moving at rocket speed, same with irrigation and power projects, upgrading of police force, roads, beautification of hyd, yadadri temple works are some examples to cite his speed of execution and clairy of his thought process.

Nenu anta blind flower ni kadule..I was not a believer in him until last year, but slowly started getting his point.. I don't even care KCR or not... Development is the priority.. I stand by what I said and I bet you will hear the same from a random telanganite in this DB or outside....there are many telangana people in this DB..their common minimum agenda is telangana development and not TRS or KCR, they will defend TRS only until they see TRS is a progressive government..and beyond that nothing is guaranteed
