Another warehouse of same size to come up in Hyderabad. Amazon India launched its biggest fulfilment centre (warehouse) in Kothur, Mahbubnagar District on Wednesday. The warehouse that has state-of-the-art facilities is spread over 2,80,000 sq ft. Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj K.T. Rama Rao inaugurated the facility. The Minister, who was in talks with the Amazon's administrative heads in the US earlier, said that a bigger warehouse of the same kind is expected to come up in Hyderabad soon. "Amazon also promised to set up its single biggest campus outside the United States in Hyderabad," said Mr. Rama Rao. The campus which will be of 2,50,000 sq ft in area is expected to come up near Nanakramguda, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. As much as 10 acres of land is already identified for the same, the Minister said. The campuses are expected to bring in employment for local youth. The Minister expects around 500 youth to be employed at the Mahbubnagar faciltiy.
