Singer Mika Singh Arrested For Allegedly Slapping Doctor At An Event

Popular singer Mika Singh was arrested by the Delhi police on Thursday (June 11) in connection with an incident where he allegedly slapped a doctor at a concert on April 12, 2015.

TV reports say that the singer, who had slapped an ophthalmologist during the event in New Delhi, has been taken to the Inderpuri police station.

The Mika Singh Live-in-concert was co-ordinated by the Delhi Ophthalmological Society as a part of the three-day conference, while performing he asked one of the male doctors who kept on coming and dancing where the women were dancing. Mika had warned the doctors not to do so.

Quite annoyed with this doctor, Mika called him onto the stage and slapped him hard.

Later, the doctors' association IMA asked to boycott the singer and demanded for his arrest.
