న్యూఢిల్లీ, జూన్‌ 11 : టెలిఫోన్‌ ట్యాపింగ్‌ విషయంలో తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వంపై ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబునాయుడు చేసిన పిర్యాదుపై కేంద్రం స్పందించింది. ఫోన్‌ ట్యాపింగ్‌పై శాఖాపరమైన విచారణకు కేంద్రం ఆదేశించింది.

 

నిన్న రాత్రే ప్రధాని కార్యాలయం నుంచి ఈ మేరకు ఆదేశాలు వెలువడ్డాయి. విచారణ ఏ శాఖ చేపట్టాలన్న అంశంపై త్వరలో స్పష్టత రానుంది. కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ లేదా టెలికమ్యూనికేషన్లశాఖ చేపట్టే అవకాశం ఉన్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.

The Congress leaders held parleys with intelligence officials of Telangana after which it was confirmed that the TRS had been tapping their phones for six months now of some of the top leaders like Jana Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Shabbir Ali, Bhatti Vikramarka, Jeevan Reddy and Ponnala Lakshmaiah.

The tapping began after the visit of AIC C General Secretary Digvijay Singh six months ago.

“They always seemed to know our agenda beforehand. We are always surprised at their intelligence but did not know that KCR would stoop down to such low levels. We will take up the issue with the government of India and the National Human Rights Commission,” said one Congressman.
