Infact, TG as a whole is not rich, it's the home for the 5th richest city(HYD) in India. As of 2011 the city ranks as per their revenue are: 1. Mumbai - 209 Billion USD 2. Delhi - 167 Billion USD 3. Kolkata - 150 Billion USD 4. Bengaluru - 83 Billion USD 5. Hyderabad - 74 Billion USD 6. Chennai - 66 Billion USD 7. Ahmedabad - 64 Billion USD 8. Pune - 48 Billion USD 9. Surat - 40 Billion USD 10. Visakhapatnam - 26 Billion USD city gdp. lol. gdp cannot be calculated city wise right now. India doesn't have the right records for it. these are approximates. and wildly wrong.

India doesn't have the right records for it. these are approximates. and wildly wrong. That's not city GDP, that's their revenue. GDP and Revenue are not same Cities and Towns will not have GDP. States/Provinces will have GSDP (Gross State Domestic Product) Countries will have GDP (Gross Domestic Product)

States/Provinces will have GSDP (Gross State Domestic Product) Countries will have GDP (Gross Domestic Product) what is revenue? does it even make any sense, unless its tax revenue?

lazybugger Posted June 11, 2015 Report Posted June 11, 2015 Hyd is the 5th richest city in India, because it is probably the biggest city in India (maybe after Delhi). if all cities are drawn out to match Hyd metro area, then obviously chennai will leave Hyderabad way behind. Chennai will be close to Kolkata.
