Infosys Employees Salary Accounts Hacked

Infosys employees received shock for
life. As per reports the salary account
of some Infoysys employees were
hacked and money from their salary
account siphoned off.
The incident took place in May this
year and as per sources at least 5
employees lost more than 2 lakhs.
The incident first reported on
Bhubaneswar and later similar type of
complaints registered at other cities.
While the company's Hyderabad office
received a few complaints, company's
staff in Chennai, and Bengaluru had
reported in large numbers about the
fraud.
ICICI bank which was maintaining the
accounts have confirmed the theft.
ICICI blames card skimming and
refunds money to all the impacted
customers. Spokesperson from the
bank said the bank has refunded
money to all the impacted customers
and replaced their ATM cards.
Interestingly, a majority of the victims
employee identification numbers
beginning with the series — 192.
