You can also claim diminished value, you will get around 40 % of the repair cost.

diminished value will be given only if its a big accident with big bill which should be min at $2000. Go with other insurance only even if it take some time, so it wont be recorded in your insurance. If its not drivable, then go with yours for quick fix. You can ask diminished value, but no guarantte.
