lazybugger Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 an excerpt from an old article. This is what CPM leader Sitaram Yechury had to say about Dalit movement. http://www.telegraphindia.com/1130419/jsp/opinion/story_16795272.jsp#.VX6v4XU4bK5

Correct... Also I would like to add that is point where our leaders overlooked our transformation.. 20 years latter PVNR had to take some though decisions to transform into new age India but had that been the case we would have been kicking chiense butt
lazybugger Posted June 15, 2015 Author Report Posted June 15, 2015 Correct... Also I would like to add that is point where our leaders overlooked our transformation.. 20 years latter PVNR had to take some though decisions to transform into new age India but had that been the case we would have been kicking chiense butt nah, India can never kick chinese butt. Individual states (if separate countries) can attempt to emulate Thailand, Malaysia, but China is something else. Even Taiwan, Korea are out of these states reach. reason: RBI's hawkish stance on interest rates. pvnr didn't do much, or enough. whatever he did, he was forced to do it. His semi autobiographical "The Insider" gives us a good peek at how doggedly socialist he was. Do you really think that if India embraced market economy in the 70s, India would be a middle income country by now? lets say semiconductor Fabs come to India, who uses it? electronics manufacturers. how many will start such companies to increase local demand? with interest rates hovering around 13%, only the politically connected. And the loans aren't easy to get too. Take for example, auto industry in India. Why haven't there been more auto manufacturing clusters apart from Chennai, Pune, Haryana? There's something fundamentally wrong with India. I don't know it yet though. I can only assume that Indian Union is flawed, and that the sooner it breaks into pieces, the better for everyone. I'll be more than happy if TN becomes like a Korea. I have no such hope for India.

China is still politically communist. But they are pragmatists for the most part, unlike the Russians and east europeans.
Moon_Walker Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 Communists are the plague infested rats who should be eliminated from earth just like the Congress low life Mani Shankar Aiyar.
lazybugger Posted June 15, 2015 Author Report Posted June 15, 2015 not just india , it failed all over the world ... because its a big joke .... even capitalism is a joke then. these 'isms don't matter. I was talking of the communist party, and not communism itself. my title was misleading.
areybokka Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 How about China? Just curious China is communist country in political and more than capitalism it is their drive for export driven economy. China moved on to economic path only after Zedang who in his heart and soul believed in communism but not his successors... Communism and capitalism was rubbed on many countries because of intense cold war between US and USSR. India lo utter flop kavadaniki reason aithe manaki unna democratic traditions from the mid 19th century... Even countries like South Africa and Kenya also though poor has democratic set up because of british political system in those colonies... An average chinese does not know that about fundamental rights. It is a single party which captured power and ruling without acceptance of majority in the name of communism and state control. Though land reforms were succesful in chinese during zedang rule, the income disparities were one among the highest in the recent times... Its policy of expansionism where it would like to see the world as a communist entity where state controls everything and people would experience egalitarian reforms. But the reality is different and its is only a few years away where people revolt for pro democracy... ee sodhi antha neekosam ye cheppa curious annav kada ani
