Director and producer Ram Gopal Varma’s tweet on AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu, triggered a mixed response on Twitter.

The director, known for his controversial tweets, said that he is embarrassed to be a citizen of AP as Mr Naidu is embarrassing the state with the cash-for-vote scam.

 

Mr Varma also praised Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao for his straight forward attitude in the same tweet.

 

“Am embarrassed as Andhra citizen with CB Naidu for making a national embarrassment of Andhra people and I bow down to Kcr’s straight forwardness” (sic), tweeted Mr Varma.

 

The tweet received a lot of negative replies from AP Twitter users and TD followers.

 

Some asked him to get his favourite Maggie instead of making such mean comments about the CM.  “@RGVzoomin Political issues enduku nanna Neeku.. Maggi thini thongoka...”(sic), tweeted Prasanna MR.  Others said he was under the influence of vodka and one need not bother about him.
