I94 Expiry

H1 expires in dec 2015, last year india travel chesi back vasthe POE lo...  passport lo i94 date...  passport expiration date(july 2015) rasadu . I already applied for a new passport and got it recently, i94 extenstion ela cheyinchali....797 paina i94 dec2015 varaki undhi.adhi chala leka do i need to exit/entry the country ?  google search chesthe okkokaru okkola rasaru...am confused.if any one had same situation ,please tell ur experience.

nee i94 expiry date 797 expiry date aa ? aithe don't worry. latest i94 expiry date online lo chudu if it is July 2015 better exit and re-entry with new passport

i went thru that situation .. naa H1 2016 Dec varaku undhi.. kaani passport 2015 Oct lo expire avthundhi ani cheppi POE lo same date varaku I94 icchadu.

So here is the process

1. Get ur passport extended ( which u did already)

2. You have the following options to get ur I-94 extended

• Go out of country and re-enter. I have a list of countries near by which dont need visa ( if you are looking at this option i will provide you)
• Lot of forums say that you can go to the border park ur car n cross by walk and re-enter.Mana sudi , someitmes they'll deny to extend it.Same case is with the Immigration office at the airport. They dont do it.
• Last option is to file for ur H1 extension which will renew ur I-94. I am going through this cos my employer will pay all the expenses for the process

My suggestion , if you are planing to go out of country better not go out rather spend that money in your H1 extension. Its up to you though.

Go to near by CBP office, they will renew it for you man. Go and give a try before you leave the country

 in your case ur recent POE is ur I 94 date, 

 

U can try at ur nearest CBP office , take ur new passport and other documents and try mostly they will do.

 

if not you have to exit and enter the country.

Another option is to visit nearest Deferred inspection site and get it rectified... it works if yu are lucky.
