There was a period in past when Manchu Mohan Babu and his family openly protested against the stand of TRS and its president KCR fighting for separate statehood of Telangana. Heated arguments followed by release troubles for Manchu family films were pretty much known.

Now that Telangana State is formed and KCR is serving as Chief Minister, obviously there will be lot of affinity from film industry towards him. At a recent ‘Basthi’ film function, KCR and Mohan Babu sharing lighter moments have caught the attention of many people around.
