If all politicians started behaving like bureaucrats, sucking on industrialist's dciks, where would the concept of a nation state be? It'll resemble a corporate state. that is why communists are necessary to provide the right counter balance to these development oriented politicians. I also don't agree with communists in India, but for entirely different reasons to yours. Communists in India is just another vehicle for upper caste hegemony and they are not serious about dealing with the caste issues in India.
