Once you leave country your i94 with H1B expires

Once you leave country your i94 with H1B expires but when i came back to US MY new h1b hasnt started kada? and my new h1b packet came with a new i94 do i still need to update it?

ballibaja Posted June 26, 2015 Author Report Posted June 26, 2015 If you have got your H1 Ext or transfer after coming to US and did not leave after that..you are Good! i got my new h1b approved before going to india and coming back to US but my new h1b start date was from oct 1st it was not started yet even after i came back

Did you go out of country when you were on H1 ?

Did you go out of country when you were on H1 ? my first h1 was non profit h1 buddy which is not counted in quota.. new h1b is counted in quota which is regular h1b and its start was in oct 2013 but i came back on old h1b before the new one started.. so thats my case
