VizagRocks Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 The locals will be trained and provided jobs. There's no other way. management can come from anywhere, including from japan.
just2deal Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 and that makes your point, how? do you really think employees will be bussed out of chennai? there's only one road to that place. unlike other industrial centers (sri perumbudur, oragadam) that are 50kms away from chennai, but are well connected through multiple roads. what I meant is if the units from TN are located to farther places in AP,it should have benefited more..cos many workers who live around chennai shuttle to places like sriperumbuduer etc on a daily basis and mostly arranged by the factories..and relocating to sricity does not makes much difference..for the units who are relocating.. even for the new units much of the economy is connected to Chennai/TN rather than AP
VizagRocks Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 a better argument that you can make, since you seem so bent on making it, is that some of its suppliers may not move to AP because of this move. but again, it depends on how much CBN is willing to bend over.

I meant promoting new industrial hubs in interior AP have more far fetched results than Sricity or any border towns in AP
VizagRocks Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 I haven't been to SriCity, but if its anything like Mahindra World City in Chennai, the residential quarters look like an english county city, but with modern buildings.
VizagRocks Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 I meant promoting new industrial hubs in interior AP have more far fetched results than Sricity or any border towns in AP yeah. but right now AP can and should leverage the closeness to Chennai and Hyderabad.
VizagRocks Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 ofcourse its very hard to leverage closeness to Hyderabad, because property is more affordable in Hyd than in AP.
