siru Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 development of buckingham canal aa? CBN ki kooda Chennai ante ishtame. awesome. kaani adhi koncham impossible project. plus unnecessary project for AP. Chennai entha #1 city aithe em labham.. Water kosam maa AP paina depended.. We should charge more for the water going to chennai
VizagRocks Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 Chennai entha #1 city aithe em labham.. Water kosam maa AP paina depended.. We should charge more for the water going to chennai #1 aa. haha.. ikkada joodu, metro pothunna road virigi poyindi. eella mokaallaki underground metro avasarama. f water deggara ki vasthe. supply to Chennai is only based on availability. city requirement around 30tmc aithe, hardly oka 5tmc is from AP. most of water is from reservoirs. chennai city lo more than half the city has no water supply. andaru bore lu veskovatame. but ippudu edho desalination plant lu pettaru. aa gundubabu ke teliyaali, endukante vaadu unde area lo ne supply aa plant nundi. right now desalination plants supply almost 20% of water required for the city. already 2 unnai, inkoti on the way anukunta. krishna water peddaga avasaram leka povachu future lo. kaani power plant lu maatram kaavaali. nenu unna time chennai lo ne ekkuva power cuts bangalore kante.
VizagRocks Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 chennai lo oka season rain sarigga padaka pothe, the city is fcuked. oka 3-4 yrs padaka pothe, city khaali cheyyalsindhe. it is a city that thrives inspite of this existential threat.
just2deal Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 It is very good for AP But the TN companies should plan to invest in other parts of AP and not limit to border places of AP or SEZ like sricity which hardly 45 mins drive from chennai Cos ,it may not help AP much as there will be no taxes to AP govt from Sricity/SEZs and not much new jobs are created as they will be just relocating from another part of TN and employees will commute from TN/Chennai

I think there's a beach closer by or something. but I couldn't locate it from the national highway. This serves AP much better than you think. a couple more in Chittoor, and Nellore, and TN will be wondering how to stop the flow of companies from TN to AP. Amaravati being so close to Hyd is also a huge advantage to both AP and TG. whatever people may say about CBN, his choice of capital city will likely be hailed as a good move in retrospect.

Sricity is 55 Km from Chennai and almost on border of TN http://www.sricity.in/multi-product-sez-connectivitymap.html
VizagRocks Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 Sricity is 55 Km from Chennai and almost on border of TN and that makes your point, how? do you really think employees will be bussed out of chennai? there's only one road to that place. unlike other industrial centers (sri perumbudur, oragadam) that are 50kms away from chennai, but are well connected through multiple roads.
VizagRocks Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 Sricity is 55 Km from Chennai and almost on border of TN http://www.sricity.in/multi-product-sez-connectivitymap.html Its almost 70kms man. sulurpeta is so closeby. why not check google maps.
