As you know, there is a lot of effort & man-hours that goes into filing and obtaining the approval for the H1B. dotnetrockz Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 there is a difference between bond and company policy agreement(terms and conditions) aa bond is illegal ......he cant force you to work whereas agreement can be valid....if u signed that u agreed to pay that if u voilate that agreement....first check that ee agreement common thing for every desi employer...ur employer eating 25% is not new thing....its his bussiness model...they will say the spent this much on immigration costs and training .and if u leave in between u agree to pay that.....but 5000$ is very big amount to loose if ur confident that u never verbally or thru email agree to this....and u didnt sign...find a good labor lawyer and take it from there...
