"Dont choose between the lesser evil of the two. Know that you have an alternative ". So, it would be disappointing to c someone with your caliber...let go of the only hope .But, if you have come to a conclusion, based on facts and the development activities there being done by LSP, are not good and that TDP would do better, then i have no comments.
Lakshmi Parvathi Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010
For the first time probably, the TDP president Chandrababu Naidu has something to say positive about YS Jagan, though sarcastically! Chandrababu opined that there is only one person in Andhra Pradesh who can solve the financial crisis being faced by the Rosaiah government. He said that if YS Jagan, who is worth more than 6000 crores, transfers all his money to the Rosaiah's government, then all the schemes including fee reimbursement can be continued for another five to six years.Chandrababu asked YS Jagan to keep just 100 to 200 crores and be gracious enough to give the rest of his money to the Rosaiah's government in view of the welfare of the people. If YS Jagan and the Sakshi media are really interested in the welfare of the people, the they would transfer all the ill-gotten money to the Rosaiah's government instead of keeping mum on the issue. rahuliit2003 Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 @ Poola Rangadu and krldr871:I really appreciate the words you have spoken and respect them from the bottom of my heart, the truth is, well switching loyalties hasn't been really easy for either (if my switch was a permanent one, even I don't know), and sometimes (make it many times) even I think the same, change isn't possible overnight, is there any point in jumping ship just because LSP didn't sweep the first elections they contested??To quote an experience, let's go back 2 years in time, it was February 2008 and I had one of the most special moments of my life when JP Garu came to our college (NIT Warangal) for Spring Spree, the annual cultural fest of NITW. Our college president being a very good friend of mine, I had the chance to have breakfast with JP Garu the next morning, spend the next 3 hours with him and drop him in the railway station as part of the official student-body delegation. I had the rare chance to discuss few issues with him, was enamored by his intellect and brilliance, it was an aura that marked the presence of a statesman, a leader for the next generation that the country desperately needed. It was that day I decided whom I was gonna cast my next vote for. And true to my promise I cast my vote for LSP, now looking at the results of 2009 elections.Congress - 37%Maha Alliance - 35.5%PRP - 15.5%BJP - 2.7%LSP - 1.7%All those who wanted to dethrone Congress were divided in their choice of parties, Congress could thereby retain their power. Ekkado chinna feeling, 20 years lo LSP definite ga ruling loki vasthundi, kani appati varuku ee Congress kukkalu state ni undanivvali kada ani. Adi naa aavedana antha kanna emi ledu, that's the only reason I pointed in my previous post that I'll side with TDP in the 2014 elections. Nenu yellow uniform vesukunna nenu LSP cadre ne, I'm a registered member of LSP chapter vizag and attend their meetings like once in 2 months or so, naa range lo nenu awareness theesukuravataniki try chesthuntanu naa chinna circle lo. krldr871 Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 @rahuliit2003meeru cheppinadi kontha varaku correct ee..kani congress vaste state emayipothundo antunnaru..same goes with tdp..if cbn had become the CM in 2009, eepatiki state chala chatta ayyedi..it wouldnt have been different from what it is now..money transfer, color television etc improves the chances of corruption and i believe, it would have increased the levels of corruption in the state..all i'm trying to say is, do not compare CBN in 1995-2004 to YSR 2004-2009..the economy of the state was a different level and the state budget was also very less comparatively..so it was more because of lack of opportunity and not because of his honesty and integrity that CBN did not amass wealth like YSR..And meeru cheppinattu 20 yrs lo LSP ki power vasthe antunnaru, it could well be with in the next 5-10 yrs..it may not seem to be possible now, but revolution anedi chaapa kindha neeru la untundi..kani ah transformation impact matram chaala sudden ga obvious ga untundi..so dont loose hope..the change could well come with in the next decade hopefully.. cheers12w cheers12w
