access to a huge market. and access to easy credit. its not that easy to compete with local companies that have it in the US.

same case with China now. and in future with India. both these will become really really big economies. but won't actually benefit Indians/Chinese.

why can't Europe do that, ante.. it can't. because its not a unified culture. They tried it with Euro, but most of the times, the Euro big heads sit and dictate terms to countries like greece, spain, italy, without realising that it is time to change the way the currency works. the entire currency is designed to suit countries like germany.
