Haha..same to same happened...dealer ran credit check with 6 banks...credit karma lo check chesthe -26 points....

I am not too worried on that..naa credit score overall ga fine...and few months lo should be okay..also, I read some where that credit check made within a month or so, would be considered as single enquiry.

Equifax guys may provide more info on this and how soon this can get rectified...unless, you plan on taking loan sometime soon, I would not be too worried...

Also, different businesses use different agencies like equifax, transunion etc...so, even if equifax corrects it other might still show the same....

The whole concept of credit score is ridiculous, imho..

pjung you got few points corect there but all credit checks made with in amonth will be considered as single check is a myth..each hard check is a hard check no matter you do it in 1 day gap or 5 months gap...whats soothing for us is all hard checkjs made with in 1 month will not havemuch impact on the overall credit score 

whats bothering to us is you will have too many hard cheks bujjidude if you are planing to appyl cerdit card or whatever which requires hard check then the number of hard checks comes into picture I had similar exp but i had document and got em removed

Just checked mine..it says hard check will be on file for 2 yrs..

Call equifax guys and find out..I will do the same tomorrow and will update you here
