Hazlewood to Lyth, OUT, early strike! Well caught in the gully. Hazlewood gets his line and length right, a full delivery at middle and offstump, Lyth aiming to work the ball through the leg side, gets squared up, and finds a thick outside edge which flies low to David Warner who snaffles it very well

A Lyth c Warner b Hazlewood 6 (10b 1x4 0x6) SR: 60.00

Lyon to Cook, OUT, got him! It wasn't short enough or wide enough to cut, and Cook has fallen two balls after the drinks break. Leans back and lashes at it, and there's some extra bounce for Lyon - he always puts a lot of overspin on the ball - and Haddin takes the top edge very well behind the stumps, soft gloves and hopping on his toes to ride the bounce

AN Cook c †Haddin b Lyon 20 (40b 3x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

Starc to Bell, OUT, very full, and that's bye bye, Ian Bell. Classic left-arm inswing, and it raps Bell on the bottom of his front pad, almost on the half-volley, in front of... middle and leg, maybe, as he looked to flick it. Given out immediately, and Bell walks off, after asking his partner if he should review and getting no for an answer. I'd hazard a guess that Hawkeye would say 'umpire's call', but we'll have to see.

IR Bell lbw b Starc 1 (7b 0x4 0x6) SR: 14.28

Shree: "Why no replay of bell's dismissal?" -- Good question. I have no idea. I'd like to see what Hawkeye thinks of it.

Johnson to Ballance, FOUR, full on off stump and Ballance pushes at it with an angled bat, the ball slices away off the outside half of it through backward point and runs away for four. He'll take the runs, but he probably wanted to hit that through the covers. His weight was leaning back, not going into the stroke

Johnson to Ballance, FOUR, short and wide, and that is oxygen for Ballance, skips back and across with delightful quickness of feet to cut it away through point

Johnson goes around the wicket now. Interesting angle to the left-handed Ballance

Johnson to Ballance, 3 runs, fullish, angling across towards middle and off, clipped away neatly through square leg
