Bosu, I suggest, take the very low cost, here most of the insurances are incidental, that means if they met with an accidents (I wish not to happen) then this insurance will cover up. I had taken sevencorners insurance and paid 1500 for both parents for 5 months duration but not a single doctors accepts it. So i would suggest ask your parents to bring all their medicine (full ante full) and ask them to get all the checkups done in india.

 

Ultimately Insurance is not really needed for visitors unless any unforeseen situations. Take a very low cost insurance to be safer side.

 

its my opinion, i am thinking that i wasted 1500 by paying it to a company which is not at all useful for parents. please dont mistake me that i said i wasted. if that is useful i wouldnt have said.

let me give an example:

 

I have United health care for my self, spouse and kids. some emergency medical centers wont accept United, they only accept Cigna. So you have high fever and u didnt searched in-network and you went to emergency, they take all the paper work then do examine give medicine  everything is fine. then later you will get a mail saying this doctor wont cover in the insurance plan you owe so and so amount. this is for us who live in USA.

 

Now lets take parents case, 

 

For them most or our parents will have Diabetes, or BP. those are not incidentals and pre existing so the insurance you buy wont cover.

 

Now lets say  they got fever, we have over the counter medicine which are very good compared to the tablets that we found in india.

 

Most Common sickness causes are:

 

Cold, Fever, cough, Stomach Ache etc for these you can find the best medicine over the counter, you dont need to visit a doctor.

 

I am not saying dont take care of your parents, practically speaking paying money wont help you in great way. I am sure we all spend money for parents, wife kids. But ultimately it should help.

their in network list covers most of PPO Coventry based doctors....  Koncham expensive a but cover chesthaaaadu if doctors are with in their network...mostly PPO conventy lo maximun andhaaru untaaaru...neeku nachaakapothe or parents tickets prepone chesukunte u can later cancel the insurance and get the money for used days...

 

kaavalante mee physician  ki call chesi kanukko will u accept this insurance ani... they will let u know

 

cheap cheap ani theesukunte u will end up paying more....
