If it is your extension you don't fall under CAP exempt..You can file anytime.You don't have to wait till next year

I had my H1 denied in 2012. I have gone through the process. Here are the options.

 

Work until you have your OPT.

 

You can file motion to reconsider or Motion to re-appeal. Motion to reconsider(which is quick),  Motion to re-appeal (takes longer time).

Proper documentation might result in approval. It's worth a try. But plan for one of the options below and do not wait until last minute.

 

 

Only 2 legal and good options after that.

 

1. Join a college and apply for H1 again next year. Also I suggest you to join a good college even though they don't give CPT. If you have financial problems and what to join a college which gives CPT, Join college which has accreditation and be careful picking college.

2. Go to India and apply for H1 again next year. before leaving ensure, some company applies H1 for you.

brother..first of all don't worry..stay calm..

 

Here are your options -

 

Ask your employer to file MTR(Motion to Re-open) based on the denial notice reasons .It will be mentioned in the denial notice by when you have to file your MTR.

Mean while immediately look for a Employer who can do a h1 transfer if you are still on the Project. If you are not on the project find a employer who can show a in house project and do H1 transfer to his company.

Most of the times you get these kind of denials because of not showing enough proofs of Employer-Employee relationship documents or lack of client letter etc..
