A black cat is scaring the residents of Pearl River, New York. "It’s been like lockdown. I feel bad for the kids, they’re afraid to go out," one neighbor tells CNN affiliate WCBS. A petrifying pussy is preying on anyone from grown men to little dogs and no one is safe. Officials suspect it may have rabies and they're trying to find the kitty to test it. The cat is known to appear out of nowhere, attack, then stare oddly and quietly. At least one person has already started rabies shots. Signs you have rabies may include itching, fever and headache, according to the CDC.
