Lol. Sodhi logic.. Antha opika tho kanna mother aa papa ni vadhilesindhi? Because they are in no condition to provide anything to them. And 4 of 7 are working as child labors. 7th girl ni vadhilesaaru. You talk about opika.

Jeevithamtham kanukuntu pothe ..inka penchataaniki time eppudu untundhi man? Aa thalli kane dhaani meedha pette opika okallidharu penchataniki pedithe...manchi quality life untudhi pillalaki. Penchadam ante..oka manchi quality food, education, comfortable living conditions, and emotional bonding with family values. Avi ivvali ante kanadam kante ekkuve opika undaali. Farming chese raithu panta vacchaka...thaalu (low quality) ones remove cheyyataniki...thoorpara padathaaru. I hope u understand what I meant to say. Society will do the same. Aa thaalu lane society lo ee 7 members migilipothaaru. All low quality ones in the society. That doesn't help for stronger family, society and the country. Btw, aa story lo vaallu alaane migilipoyaaru le. And antha opika ga birth icchina thalli last girl ni vadhileshindhi. Both father and mom rejected to take her back, because she is girl. And that mother didn't feed the girl for 2 days after the birth...papa edusthunna. People quested her to feed that girl and take the girl back. Finally some sishu samkshema organization vacchi papani theesukellindhi.

I agree with you
But one small qtn, nee stage lo quality life ni explain chesavu kada, ade nuvvu billgates stage lo undi quality life ento cheppu, and adukkune stage lo undi quality life ento cheppu. Thoughts will definitely change.

Its not about naa stage or your stage. There is some standard/average stage in the society which can be understood by any one with a pinch of commonsense ..if you look around your own society will understand. Because ultimately, these kids need to grow and compete in the same society tomorrow. Inka  Neevu cheppav kadha. Opika kaavali ani....7 guruni kanadaniki. ...alantivi zandu balm kathalu without any substance/use.

In quest for boys, this couple in Gujarat has 14 daughters

Just when Bibipur village in Haryana showed the way forward for an entire nation with its ‘Beti Bachao, Selfie Banao’ contest, earning an appreciative nod from the Prime Minister himself, a family in Gujarat is going the other way.

After 14 daughters, at the rate of one every year, this couple finally had a boy two years ago. Now, the mother is pregnant again, and the father is hoping for another boy to “look after” all those daughters.

“I have not thought about what we will do if we have another daughter. We are both still young, so we could give it another try,” says Ramsinh Sangod, the 35-year-old father and a farmer from Jharibhujhi village in Gujarat’s Dahod district.

“My body is very weak and I know it. When I could not bear a son in the first seven pregnancies, my husband threatened me, saying he would bring another woman home. I am an orphan and I did not want to be deserted, so I agreed,” says Kanu, the 33-year-old mother, now in the ninth month of her latest pregnancy.

“When God gave me a son in 2013, I wept in joy and we named him Vijay, because our devotion had finally been blessed. I am hoping this one will be a son too so that our family is complete,” adds Kanu.

As per the 2011 census, Dahod has a child sex ratio of 948 girls per 1000 boys; in 2001, it was 967 per 1000.

And in Garbhada taluka’s Jharibhujhi, home to around 100 homes, many families have up to nine children. But Ramsinh and Kanu stand apart in their bizarre quest for sons.

“In our custom, the brother has a big role to play in his sister’s lives. During the weddings of the sister’s children, the brother must give expensive gifts. How will one boy look after the families of my 12 daughters? I think, it would be best to have a second son who can share the load,” says Ramsinh.

Kanu agrees, even though she looks tired and haggard. “He is right. It will be very difficult for my little son to live up to the expectations of all his sisters when they grow up. Two brothers will be able to support each other,” she says.

Ramsinh and Kanu have been married for 18 years. Their eldest daughters – Sevanta (17) and Neeru (15) – were married in March. Then there’s Saranga (14), Hansa (13), Joshna (12), Ranjan (10), Meena (9), Payal (8), Moni (7), Hasina (5), Kinjal (4) Baigan (3) and Vijay (18 months).

Payal, Moni, Hasina and Baigan go to primary school while Hansa, Joshna, Meena and Ranjan look after the family’s three cows. Two other girls, Kali and Ovanti, died when they were about two years old. “They fell ill and died, we don’t know what happened,” says Ramsinh.

As the number of children increased, Ramsinh and his elder daughters were forced to work at construction sites to feed the family.

“When the crop is bad, we travel for months to Madhya Pradesh or other parts of Gujarat in search of work. I take my elder daughters along with me to work at construction sites. Once my son grows up, he will shoulder the responsibility of the family,” says Ramsinh.

“There are many days when we go without food. I have lived through my pregnancies without meals too,” Kanu says.

I replying to your opika comment, man. Yeah, vaallaki antha awareness undadhu. Thats different topic. Govt should initiate in providing awareness among the masses. The earlier Govts did succeed to large extent. But still there are some cases like these.

It's funny half-brain people here blab how high population leads to poverty and blame it on the previous generations. High population is not necessarily the worst thing.

China is a good example in what you can achieve with the virtually unlimited workforce.

For

- India’s population is a boon as it would result in high income which would in turn result in higher savings, clear indicators of economical growth.
- Our population offers us an absolute force of cheap manpower which is a very useful tool for India.
- People turning up of government services have increased significantly which is a very good sign for a country like ours as it would mean more social force.
- Our growing population has resulted in an increase of different options in various fields guaranteeing more jobs.
- India has become a nation of various talents. Larger population means a deeper pool of domestic intelligence which can be used to good effect.
- Larger skilled population means a natural inclination of foreign companies to offer us newer projects and yes we can do them more cost effectively.
- Larger population can be a big asset in labour based manufacturing units which can make us a big exporter of hand made goods - every hand can become an earning hand for the country.

Against

- It creates unemployment as the population keeps on increasing the job opportunities keeps on diminishing.
- India’s infrastructure won’t be able to withstand the burden of our ever growing population.
- Literacy rates are not in direct relation with the increase in population and this is resulting in people piling up below the poverty line.
- There is a major dip in the standard of living as well as in health departments as India has a very poorly administered population policy.
- The existing grain is getting used up at the rate of knots and the rate at which the population is growing it will be impossible to supply food and water to this increasing population.
- Awareness programs about the disadvantages of overpopulation have failed to make an impact on the societies as they are very few in number are restricted to few areas only.
- Huge unfed population can lead to criminalization of the society.
