It’S Official: Baahubali Is The New Industry Hit

And it’s finally official. Baahubali is the new Industry Hit of Telugu cinema overtaking the worldwide collections of Atharintiki Daredi through the morning and matinee shows that concluded today. The film has now crossed 75 Cr mark.

 

But the remarkable thing here is that it has achieved this feat with just the Telugu version alone and not with the combined versions of the film. If one takes them also into consideration the worldwide collections stand pretty near to 100 Cr.

Another remarkable feat achieved by Baahubali here is that on its first three screenings, premieres, Friday and Saturday, it has collected a Million each on each day (Thursday Premiers $1395K, Friday $1090K, Saturday $1115K, Sunday $720K).

It’s a first for a Telugu film and this spectacular performance in the overseas is the biggest reason why Baahubali toppled the previous Industry Hit so soon. Baahubali has collected $4.398 Million in it’s first weekend in US.
