sahasam Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 Good: 1) as far as the characters, major credit should go to Ramya Krishna and SatyaRaj. Both of them lived in their character 100%. 2) The actual war scenes are kind of boring but the strategy they used was good. 3) CGI effects in waterfalls, kingdom and the war scenes were very good. 4) unlike a typical rajamouli film, post-interval scene was very good - fight with kattappa, slaying the prince head, all groups gathering at the same time right before Sivudu revelation. 5) Surprising twist at the end.. 5) epic (janapadaalu) movies chaala rare ga chestunna ee rojullo, oka great movie choose opportunity.. Bad.. 1) what the hell main characters like prabhas and tamanna were doing when the side characters like ramyakrishna and satya raj was doing a great job. Frankly speaking prabhas does not have the charm of a king in the baahubali character. King ante, aa glow adi idi missing. Hopefully there will be more in the 2nd part. 2) typical telugu movie format? - heroism? prabhas breaking the shivalingam to lift it? he could have just moved it without breaking it with a gunapam - item song for the great king? that too right after praising him so much in mamatala thalli song. Why cant Rana do that song while Prabhas doing rana's work - sivudu pulling the whole statue - seriously? 3) story in the first part was very much diluted - may be bcoz of unplanned 2 parts thing. 4) again, unlike a typical raajamouli movie, very week villainism in the first part. ila cheppukuntu pothe bads chaala undochu.. but i cant. Rajamouli once said: "when audience expect something, give it to them; but when they predict something, surprise them." Sir, for god sake, please understand that we are not expecting typical mass masala scenes no longer; esp'lly not in films like this. All of us, even B and C class audience in your movie definitions, are using smart phones nowdays. So if they want something spicy, they know where to find it. So, you dont have to show tamanna boddu in regular scenes which kills the character and no need to have a raghavendra rao style sexy song and strictly no need of item songs in a movie like this. --- share yours..
