texas Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 na client place lo one of these implement cheyali by Aug end, na manager gad emo na paina vadilesadu decision me suggestions please for the questions in RED Shall I go for Hadoop or Apache Spark? As far I know - We should look at Hadoop as a general purpose Framework that supports multiple models and We should look at Spark as an alternative to Hadoop MapReduce rather than a replacement to Hadoop; it can run in Hadoop clusters through YARN or Spark's standalone mode, and it can process data in HDFS, HBase, Cassandra, Hive, and any Hadoop InputFormat I have been hearing and reading that Apache Spark will overshadow Hadoop in near future. is it true?
loveindia Posted July 15, 2015 Report Posted July 15, 2015 If you have Java / python experience, Spark will help you very much man... It's basically like In Memory data optimization... if you compare Hadoop to a Disk based system, then Spark does similar stuff in Memory... SQL kuda use cheskovachu Spark lo (one other module)... so neeku Java vastey its good but ippudey kaadu vastundi in future....

Yea right now Teradata bro... Teradata is different from Big Data kada ante Teradata is structured data and unstructured data ki Big Data use kosam planning client end Teradata can handle lot of data and I worked on Teradat which has handled petabytes of data, that is not at all an issuse with Teradata For Eg Walmart lo Teradata Database capacity 1.6 petabytes
