Maniratnam is still way ahead of both. RGV is hopeless.

but budget ekkuva ani drop ayyadu. After Baahubali, if he still has the urge to do it, he will take it up again, because Baahubali proved there is a market for such movies.

 

and katha intha chillara ga undadhu. its a classic story, new for non-tamilians. But I doubt whether Maniratnam has the physical and mental strength to do it now. He already had a couple of heart attacks.

 

Rajamouli ne teesindachu aa story ni. But it requires more than 3 parts to tell the story wonderfully.
