few questions regarding passport renewal.

 

In person velli apply chesthe enni days pattidhi in Atlanta, Gerogia? (normal processing)

 

naadhi H1B extension undhi , does my H1B approval period depends on the passport expiry date?

LESS than 6mo passport expiry unte..they wudnt file an extension.. if your pp expiry is more than 6mo, extension accept/approve avthundi...it doesnt really matter on passport expiry date for extension validity

FEB lo I got mine done...so sharing some info based on my exp..

 

I applied @ DC - Tatkal itay mrng 10 ki ala chestay evening 5 ki PP istadu ( its 240$ I guess)

Regular processing itay 3-4 weeks by mail they will send (90$)

 

If ur not in a hurry, then apply online 4-5 weeks lo PP vachestadi..

 

If PP expired kakapotay then no issue can apply anytime without any justification letter, if expired >6 months then you need to draft a letter for justification ..check the website..

 

Extension ki PP tho sambandam ledu, it will be as per ur H1B dates..Only when you go for stamping you need to have more than 6+ months valid passport..

Naadi nee situation ee.. H1 stamping ki vellali pp expiring in 5 months..
My strong advice is get the new pp and go

yes it is... all submitted docs should be active for atleast 6 months in future... attorneys wil not accept bro...

aithe nee H1B ki yem kaadu le.. but PP renewal process start chesko.... if u didnt submoit ur extn papers its better if u get ur new PP and submit that in ur extn...
Also embassy wont allow PP renewal if its not expiring within in 6 months.. nenu chesinappudu appointment option ivvadu if ur passport is expiring in more than 6 months... choosko
