( I havenot done android devlopemnt hands on so i wont talk about that part)

 

If you are building webapp... please use a VM for ubuntu for dead cheap and make it a dev/test server ...configure Continous integration with github/ur own git repo 

i thin this weill be a best bet...as when u push ur commit its automatically build and deployed in less than a minute

IOS supports native app drivers for few DBs i know it supports MSSQl server.

Ippudu apps kuda over the network plan chesthunnaru most of them...like REST service calls bakend lo & AppUI mundu undi backend calls chesthundi ...

there is no 17" anymore I guess in pro kada man... I am seeing atleast 15" as last... or naa kallu emanna kaakulu....

 

no idea man , i never tried to look for a 17" macbook on apple website ...
