I heard my tamil friends say this very casually..why do tamils talk about sepeating from India ?
Is this something they grew up hearing from elders?

They'll save India again by openly talking about secession. 

 

some tamil households are openly political. especially DMK supporters. because they never ask votes based on caste. but on the basis of Tamil Pride.

 

is a little silly and outdated too, given TN has come very far from being one of the poorest states in 60s and 70s.

Educated Tamils might already know that its technically impossible to secede..

I think we have different standards for what world class is.

everybody has to keep the fire alive, somehow. Someday it will become true.

 

 mostly Tamils talk about southern India as one federacy, not TN as separate country.

 

The idea is slowly catching on.
