Chiranjeevi is a superstar in films. People see a hero in him and often tend to expect the heroics even in politics too. Time and time, he had proven that he is also a usual politician but still people do expect some ‘hero’s morality’ in him. It is tough to see the Superstar turning to be an ‘entertainer’ for Congress party. The party which is depleted to the core in the elections is just using him as an ‘entertainer’ and ‘crowd gatherer’.

Special meetings of fans were conducted to gather people for Rahul Gandhi’s Padayatra in Ananthapur. Neither Chiranjeevi walking with the Congress Vice President nor the fans who go to such meetings do have a political direction or any hopes of future in politics.

While the people congregated for the meetings wore a blank face for Rahul Gandhi’s posh English and Raghuveera Reddy’s erring translation, Chiranjeevi is given the mike to engross the people with his ‘heroics’. Fans would be hurt if we use the word ‘Political Cheerleader’ here. But they will certainly think twice after reading it.

In his speech, Chiranjeevi mentioned it was a prosperous rule in the country under Congress regime between 2004 and 2014. But if it really so, one would wonder why he floated a party against Congress in 2008.

It may not be fair to expect Chiranjeevi to behave differently from usual politicians after that merger with Congress and his political journey later. But people can not resist to expect some morality from the silver screen demigod. The real Mega fans will only hope that his 150th film goes on floors very soon and he becomes too busy that he won’t find time for politics.
