Bubble lo undi kani but not at the scale of 2001. Its at a sustainable level. This is strictly speaking abt tech companies. No idea abt ral estate

ade cheptunna..ippudu there is no bubble to burst.....tech companies are fairly valued in silicon valley now. If there is something called as bubble that is ready to burst, its in a place called silicon valley of India, i.e. Banglore.

India la almost every startup is overvalued at muliple times now. I am giving 2 yrs for this to burst.

nenu reverse lo ankuntunna bro .... most of those startups are over valued ...

for example

whatsapp -20bill

snapchat - 20bill

uber - 50Bill

Tesla - 75Bill (?) ( incase of a take over )

airbnb - ~30bill

and there are a lot to name , all these valuations sound crazy and ridiculous , the bubble will certainly burst at some point  but of course not at the 2001 scale ...

most companies you quoted were not startups when they got those valuation(whatspp/tesla). Airbnb has good monetization and long term plans.

snapchat and uber I agree but the point is they all got good tech powering these companies. Uber though overvalued has a crazy and optimal tech powering them.

whereas the companies back in india dont have the technical abilities to innovate and distrupt.

The other day I was reading an article on how it was easy to raise a series A round in India than in silicon valley.Indian companies do not have backend processes and systems to scale their operations and are still gettinmg huge valuation.

so I think this time Indian tech companies wlll burst first.

i think most of these indian startups have decent valuations man , not exorbitant and ridiculous like the startups in silicon valley .... look at this chart , they seem pretty Ok to me , considering that the number of indian ecommerce users and internet users is going to explode in the coming years

and of all these startups , given a chance i'd blindly bet on Paytm , it'll certainly reach new heights in the indian startup space ...

you just cant solely put a valuation on number of users and anticipation of more in future. This is precisly the point I was making that scaling will be big issue to cope with for many Indian companies. More number of users==more problems. Tjey just dont have the systems in place to cope with heavy traffic.

yes I would bet on paytm too. But only bcoz it has the backing of alibaba. They have the advantage of sharing and recreating the successful model that worked in China.
