You have to bargain, they could be rude unless you are a regular customer. 2. Doubts on their Hygiene . 3. sometimes it saves time to buy all stuff in one shop. you might wanna spend extra time with your family that going to patan cheruvu for veggies .

Most of the street vendors are uneducated and they feel threatened when you start bargaining , when they can clearly see you can afford the price and also that its cheaper than most grocery chains 2. Now a days there are more raithu bazars than usual, as the farmers are picking a day in each colony and setting their shops for 8 hours on that particular day of the week See my responses bro
