I do not hold women to some higher standard. I'm just curious why women, who are completely aware of the patriarchal society they live in(especially of India) don't think twice to give fellow women some leeway, when they are being hounded by the men. It's because they participate enthusiastically, along with the men, to keep women down. Sorta how house niggers constantly berate fellow blacks for being worthless bums, and living off white's largesse. I can appreciate women who chose to sit out the personal barrage of insults at the woman in question, because they think the woman deserves it, but the women who participate in insulting a woman in such situations, to me, is scum. That men who do this are scum is a given. I hope you didn't think I was giving a free pass to them.

My husband is my rock. he keeps me grounded and he treats me with respect. 2. My father has always given me enough freedom. blah blah.. to counter women who are making counter points to how men treat women shabbily. As if their personal experience somehow is indicative of how everyone is treated. And all the dowry and rape cases are just blips on the radar.

Do people really think that's an argument? The stupidity is unbearable.
