Would Suggest "Subaru Outback" if you can find it in the market, its hard to find (Very Safe, Comfy & lot of leg room, decent interior). You can get it fully loaded for 35k. If you dont find it then try "Subaru Legacy" its good too. or you can try New Honda HRV, Mazda3, Rav4. Checkout WW Tiguan, RDX, Infiniti SUV (dont know the model) might be under your budget.
