I am against all awards to anyone except military.  Why should they get awards? They take salaries, remuneration, fees etc.. not doing for free. If an actor does a movie he takes remuneration, why padmasree then? he didn't do it for free or love of cinema. If they are giving awards for sports persons, actors, then why don't they awards for common employees in software industry or govt employees or farmers or for being a good citizen..
