Tue, Aug 25, 2015, 09:25 PM ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాజధానికి నెల రోజుల ముందే కేంద్రం ప్రభుత్వం షాకిచ్చింది. రాజధానిలో ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మకంగా నిర్మించాలని భావించిన మెట్రో రైల్ ప్రాజెక్టు నిర్మాణానికి విజయవాడ అనర్హమని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి నెల రోజుల ముందే లేఖ రాసింది. కేంద్రం పంపిన లేఖ ప్రకారం...ఏదయినా పట్టణంలో మెట్రోరైల్ నిర్మించాలంటే 20 లక్షల మంది జనాభా కలిగి ఉండాలి. విజయవాడ జనాభా అంత లేదు. అంతే కాకుండా 2019-2020 నాటికి రోజుకు 10 లక్షల మంది ప్రయాణికులు ప్రయాణించగలిగేలా విజయవాడ కనిపించడం లేదని కేంద్రం స్పష్టం చేసింది. విజయవాడ మెట్రోరైల్ డీపీఆర్ ను పరిశీలించిన కేంద్రం... కేంద్రం నుంచి ఆర్థిక సాయం పొందేందుకు అర్హతలు లేవని స్పష్టంగా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి చెప్పింది. అలాగే డీపీఆర్ లో భద్రత, ప్రకృతి వైపరీత్యాల ప్రభావం, మల్టీ మోడల్ రంగాల్లో ఖర్చులను రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రస్తావించలేదని కేంద్రం పేర్కొంది. మెట్రో రైల్ ప్రాజెక్టుకు అవసరమైన నిధుల సమీకరణకు పన్నులు, సెస్ లు విధించే అంశాన్ని ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం పొందుపరచలేదని కేంద్రం స్పష్టం చేసింది. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ఆర్థిక వ్యవహారాల్లో నిలకడత్వం లేదని లోపాలు ఎత్తి చూపింది. మెట్రో రైల్ ప్రాజెక్టు నిర్మాణంలో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం వాటా 20 శాతానికి మించదని, అది కూడా భూసేకరణకు అవసరమయ్యే ఖర్చుతో సంబంధం లేదని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి రాసిన లేఖలో కేంద్రం స్పష్టం చేసింది. : : : - See more at: http://www.ap7am.com/flash-news-510222-telugu.html#sthash.QtHzQgb2.dpuf The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has approved designs for main station for metro rail in the city. A ground plus four building will come up near Pandit Nehru Bus Station (PNBS). The first floor of the building will be used for elevated corridor of the metro rail. A track would pass through the first floor, while station would be constructed at second floor. Third and fourth floors would be used for administrative offices. A roof top food court would come at the building. The DMRC also planned a sky walk from the PNBS to the metro station to facilitate movement of passengers from bus station to metro station. The cost of this building is not known. The first phase of Vijayawada Metro Rail project, estimated to cost Rs. 6,823 crore. Sreedharan submitted the Detailed Project Report (DPR) on the Metro Rail project which includes two corridors. The total length covered by the two corridors would be 26.03 km and the cost per km works out to Rs.209 crore, according to the DPR. While Corridor 1 between Pandit Nehru Bus Terminal and Penamaluru covers a distance of 12.76 km, Corridor 2 (Pandit Nehru Bus Terminal-Nidamanuru) covers 13.27 km.
