I flew to CA last weekend and my stop was in Salt Lake City. Salt Lake City started after big desert and I was thinking why the name "Salt Lake City". Is the water of the lake is salty?

But I have seen so much salt on the ground. And in the evening during the sunset my flight is about to land......WoW Salt Lake City was beautiful with the huge sharp mountains, antelope island, red reflection on the lake water, so much salt on the ground, red color on the some parts of mountains(dont know what it is...may be the brilliant color of flowers).
Even air hostess announced that "Everyone is asking about the scenery on the right side. It is the antelope island and it is named because there are so many antelopes in that island. You can see Molten Salt Company. blabla........"

Now I want to visit "Salt Lake City"

salt lake city name endhukantey akkada lake salt water.. its world famous for shrimp and other sea food eggs hatching.. world motha export chestaaru vaatini coz akkada salt levels of water are ideal for hatching...Nevada state cross ayyaka too musch scenic untundhi route
