jamesbond Posted August 5, 2015 Report Posted August 5, 2015 Many super stars have emerged in Tollywood in the past 5 years. Living upto the expectations of fans, few demi-gods like Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu have grown their craze in huge volumes. And then other actors like Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun became hefty crowd pullers with their markets touching 50 crore almost including theatricals and satellite rights. Even after such hefty stardom, it will not make sense if these stars repeat the same running around trees with heroines and chasing villains with axes. Recently Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daredi emerged as a wholesome entertainer not just because of the comedy scenes it has, but also the preaching it made. The way a family should look after their people is what the underlying message in that flick is. Though some scenes are exaggerated and unrealistic, Pawan and Trivikram tried to influence youths with their message. Same is the case with Allu Arjun's S/o Satyamurthy where a lot is taught about following principles and values. The whole plot centers around sticking to values, no matter what comes up in life. While critics haven't liked this preaching, audiences made it a 50 crore budgeted flick. So, preaching has really clicked well. Next in the row is Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu. Everyone thought that only Trivikram could moralise people, but there are others too. Seriously Koratala Siva is one director to look for, as the message of giving something back to the place that has given us everything is a hard hitting stuff for sure. For that reason, Mahesh Babu took this film to his heart and co-produced it too. If Srimanthudu clicks, then we could expect horde of such films from other big stars too. However, Ram Charan failed to click as he tried to spread gospel about family values through Krishna Vamsi's Govindudu Andarivadele. The film is liked by many, but somehow it didn't looked like a full meals. In the mean time, director Sukumar, who is known for his logical treat with these human emotions is coming up with "Naanaku Prematho" where NTR is the lead hero. The title itself says that he's going to talk about the father-son bonding, and maybe there is a bit of morals and ethics teaching too inside the film. On that note, let's welcome this changing trend!! - See more at: http://www.gulte.com/movienews/41061/Telugu-Superstars-Preaching-Values#sthash.Mymck9Xp.dpuf
