This is next only to the mighty Baahubali that has created unprecedented records at the box office. Srimanthudu day one estimated distributor's share in AP and Telangana is close to 13 crore.

However the makers have officially issued a list of collections that reads Srimanthudu has collected more than 17 crore share from Telugu states itself.
They have made it official that the overall collections on day 1 is over 30 crore (share)! They didn't even hesitate to fake the numbers from US that are tracked hour by hour through rentrak.

Srimanthudu collected $555000 from Thursday Premieres and $575000 (final number yet to be reported) on Friday. This means gross collections would be around 7.1 Crore on Day 1.

But the official report says that distributor share (not even gross) from US is 8.55 Crore on day 1. This is heights of manipulation when the movie has created a record already.

What is the use of releasing these bloated figures? Don't know what the makers would achieve by faking the numbers.

Even fans of Mahesh Babu aren't happy with these faking business as it would malign the image of their matinee idol.
