It is sad that quieter guys like great women, even though they know they don't have a chance with them.

That's what they are. Even if they act, they can't keep it up forever.

But they can't help it. You can't educate/save guys from being ripped off by women. It is the natural order of things. I act like a moron sometimes around my wife. It is called being romantic. Like the girl in that piece says, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. No need to feel rotten when it doesn't. or atleast no need to brand the guy as 'beta', and encourage others to be more assertive with their women.
