Saidhulu1 Posted August 17, 2015 Report Posted August 17, 2015 The Union Government has written to Andhra Pradesh on the issue of separate High Court. The letter sought government opinion on infrastructure necessary for a functional High Court, Union Minister for Law and Justice D. V. Sadananda Gowda said. He was speaking on the sidelines of the 13th convocation ceremony of the Nalsar University of Law held here on Sunday. A Division Bench of the Hyderabad High Court had earlier ruled that the court would continue as common for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana till the former set up its own High Court. The court had also observed that the Union Government should initiate the process for the same. Mr. Gowda said that as per the AP Reorganisation Act, the Hyderabad High Court should go to Telananga. AP should find land and infrastructure to have its own High Court. He had reiterated the same during the protest of Telangana MPs in Parliament, the Minister said. The Minister said deliberations and discussions had commenced on the matter and the State was expected to give a time-bound plan about the future course of action. Baga avvaledu :3D_Smiles_38:
