do you have any idea how devastating that is to the country - you know how many of them revert to crime for their living ?

coming to h1- why would raising the salary of h1 would means closing the borders of legal migration? it would only ensure that companies will hire right candidates. and also eliminates these body shops. he is worrying about raising unemployment in stem fields while the uscis and *** rubio is trying to trying to triple the h1s, he is worried about his own citizens. how is that a bad thing ?

c) Most important thing : Raising h1 salaries -- that is a backdoor offer to close the borders.. No employer will pay much when he has option of offshoring the complete project..well at this point might be INDIA, but phillipines is a strong contender too.. They will just offshore projects.. Why do you think they offshore now?? Raising h1-b minimum wage rate is not gonna help big time and will be a headache to sponsors for sure.. Without high wages logic in current world employers still hesitate to sponsor.  Hence, result will same a manufacturing.. 

 

d) True to the core.. other way around Universities will get less admissions either be it from india/ China (can't deny flocking) if students are not given privileges or perks of studying in an american university.. China up to some extent has government funded abroad studies for merit students.. where as india has drawn a blank in that category..reverse brain drain we are talking..

 

you might not see anyone else Donald Trump cuz he has been publicized everywhere on everything.. has his opinion on everything and everywhere..  Stick to your guns though..

a. ever heard of concept called anchor babies ... you know how many mothers travel across borders just to have the kid and make him/her us citizen and use them to settle down in USA. okay i understand about babies who were born here and raised here. but again we are kind hearted people - we want to save the families .. bulll shiiiiit. so we let them stay with their parents, who by the way are illegals. do you see a pattern here. ----- you know how many people settled in usa like this.. this is some weak shiiiiit

solution for this is -  we have to make a strong statement by saying if you ever are caught and found out to be illegal then you are out no matter what your kids are or how many kids you have. sent the kids to public child services or foster homes. but this chain of events should stop. no matter what.

 

c. do you know most companies realized that they take a huge loss in terms of quality of work if they out source their jobs/projects. so raising min h1b salary would still not increase outsourcing. it will only thwart big time visa abusers and body shops.

let me give you an example - most companies pay about 80 85 k for h1b that with benefits and etc etc will cost companies close to 100,00 $. that is equal to 60 Lks inr. with that pay they can still get 4 people of equal experience. Then why are the companies still hiring people here. companies always outsource what they can get way with lack of quality such as call centers, IT Service operations, etc etc. raising h1b will make companies shift in their hiring practices. they will start hiring local stem graduates and creating jobs here. Does it make sense.

 

d. i agree with you. they need to put a cap on how many international student visas can we give per year. but again this will cut down the international student fees to the economy but then again they willing to pay as much because they can pursue employment here and recover their losses. But there have to be some sort of regulation on how many international students a university can have per class.. This whole 500,000 students on student visa has to stop...
