Power Star Posted August 20, 2015 Report Posted August 20, 2015 Hard inquiries generally occur when a financial institution, such as a lender or credit card issuer, checks your credit report when making a lending decision. They commonly take place when you apply for a loan, credit card or mortgage, and you typically have to authorize them. Most important to note, hard inquiries might lower your credit score by a few points and they may remain on your credit report for two years. As time passes, damage to your credit score usually decreases or disappears, often even before the hard inquiry falls off your credit report.

SUBBARAVU Posted August 20, 2015 Report Posted August 20, 2015 20 unnayi credit history lo...chepandi va You cannot erase hard enquiries, they will disappear after 2 years. You can remove hard enquiries if the lender is not authorized to pull your credit history (in case of identity theft). You need to stop applying for credit cards from now on. You should know that when you apply Kohls, Macy's etc.. store cards they pull your credit history and are hard enquiries.
