Pull up those Vedas or whatever and u won't find those lines in them for sure ... I personally don't have any qualms about eating beef , I do it myself .. That doesn't mean that I should hurl abuses at people that don't do it because of their beliefs ...

kakatiya Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 i dont know hwy everyone arguing hinduism hinduism etc hinduism is term given collectevley for vishnavism.. shivism.. durgaism .. and even some times jains .. it is that time when british and muslims came in they collectively called all these people living below indus river as hindus.. our religions are many .. vishnavites go inside shiva temple and even baba temple.. but they follow vishnavism.. for westrners it is hinduism or at least part of hinduism.. all have their own philiospohies.. and they even fight about their philospohies.. whetehr theses ism adapted vedas or not .. is a question.. because vedas are written by scholars not religious heads.. so you can adopt the vedas in to any science any religion that you find. we dont know what religion is being follwoed by group of scholars each who wrote vedas in sanskrit some 2 thousand 500 years ago. they where transffered from mouth to mouth rather than written books.
